Karting can feel like a solo sport, but sometimes the best moments come off the track. A few weeks ago, I spent an evening at VR Simulators in Glasgow, and it changed the way I see some of the drivers I usually race against.
We weren’t battling for track position or watching lap times — we were laughing, comparing racing lines, and trying to beat the sim leaderboard. There were no podiums, just banter and proper respect. It felt like a team, even though we wear different suits on race day.
Practising at VR Simulators helped me build friendships with kids I used to only see as rivals. It’s funny — once you’ve joked about crashing a virtual F1 car together, it’s a bit harder to stay cold on the grid.
Places like VR Simulators in Glasgow, aren’t just for fun. They help you train, visualise tracks, and even build confidence" But more than anything, they remind you that racing isn’t just about winning. It’s about connection.
"If you’re a young driver or a parent near Glasgow, I definitely recommend checking VR Simulators in Glasgow, out.
