You see the lap times. You see the trophies. But you don’t see what my dad does before I even hit the track.
Dad is the one packing the bags, washing my suit, checking my snacks and hydration before race day. He’s the one filming from behind the fence with frozen hands in Scotland while I’m focused in the kart. He’s also the one calming me down when a result doesn’t go my way — and hyping me up when it does.
My dad didn’t grow up around motorsport. But now he knows more about tyre pressures, track layouts, and nerves than most people ever will. He’s learned because I race and I race better because he’s there.
Whether we’re at Shenington, or other part of the UK, he’s part of the team. And I want people to know that.

Behind every kid in a helmet is someone holding the camera, holding the snacks — and holding it all together. For me, that’s my dad.
