Sponsors... Where are you?
Inside Karting - Mum
Most people don’t see the side of karting that happens off track — the emails, the phone calls, the social media posts. Yes that's me Jen "mum". As I juggle dinner making and work.... yes me again....
Behind every race is a family trying to find the funds to make it to the next one. And for us, that means sponsors.
It’s not just about asking for money. It’s about telling Theo's story in a way that makes people want to join the journey. It’s showing what we stand for as a family.
what Theo is working towards and why someone should believe in him. And sometimes, even with all that, it’s still a
"no or not the right time."
We’ve had amazing support from people who believe in the dream — and every yes keeps us going. Especially some race weekends can cost up to £1000
But every no teaches Theo about resilience and me about determination. It reminds me that nothing about karting comes easy, and if we want it badly enough, we’ve got to work for it.
If you’re reading this and thinking about helping a young driver — I’d love to chat. Whether it’s exposure, community events, or just believing in a kid chasing big things, it all helps. Every Little helps they say...
"I might not have the biggest budget, but I’ve got drive, focus, and a whole lot of fight. And that’s why I’m not giving up."
